Long time…

July 05, 2006 By: Household6 Category: Tammy No Comments →

It’s been awhile since I posted on the this blog…you know how PCS moves go. It took us awhile to get settled and things come up. We are living on Ft. Belvoir about 45 min outside of DC. Compared to Sheppard, this place is gigantic but we really like it.

The kids are doing well. Kiersten is doing really well and her seizures are now gone. She just finished up 2nd grade and will be starting 3rd grade in the fall. Becca is doing good as well and will attend her last year of preschool in the fall. (happy dance)

Dan is working at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and likes his job a lot. He is applying to Warrant Officer school in the next few months.. so keep your fingers crossed. He is going to be a Pilot if he gets accepted which will mean more deployments but thats part of the life right?

I’ve been busy since we got settled with my businesses. Currently I’m serving as the Coordinator for the 1st Women’s Podcasting Expo. The event happens next week.. July 14-16. I’m booked solid till January 2007, which of course Dan is happy that I’m bringing in some extra money. What army family couldn’t use that right??

Well thats about the update for now.. hopefully updates won’t be 3 months apart LOL

Have a hooah day!

4th of July

July 04, 2006 By: Household6 Category: Tammy No Comments →

Independence Day aka the 4th of July celebrates the birthday of our great country, the United States of America. It is the time for red, white and blue, picnics, parades and fireworks. It is also a time to remember the trials and tribulations our forefathers endured to grant us our freedom. It is also a time to reflect the freedoms we have today and the people who are making sure that we continue with our freeoms. Just take a moment to thank the troops and their families this 4th of July holiday. Thanks to all the members of the military..As an Army family ourselves, we know first hand the sacrifice that you and your families endure each and everyday. Thanks for keeping us safe!
