What a GREAT Day!

Thanks for coming back to visit! If you would like to be a guest blogger at ArmyHousehold6.com - please let Tammy know!
Well my day started off great… I finally got to talk to Dan this morning!! He called me around 730AM. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to have my phone ring before 8AM. : ) He is doing good, just misses the girls and I. He starts Basic Training today. I think now I’ll be just fine. I knew that he was ok before (when he talked to my sil Jacquie) but I needed to hear his voice. I told him all about Kiersten and Becca’s eye appointment. He was shocked to heart that Becca needs glasses, even more she needs bifocals. LOL
It seems that we are waiting on a bunch of paperwork from the Army for the DEERS enrollment and to obtain our ID cards. I was hoping that we would get them today. No such luck! I spoke with Sgt Miles at the recruiters office and she said that I should have something. If I don’t receive anything by friday to let her know.
Well I better get going… Have a great day!

Better Day are Coming
Posted by: | CommentsWell this weekend started off really bad but ended up wonderful. To put it simply, there were car problems, major snow storm which made everything seem super-horrible especially with Dan being gone. Sunday was much better, I got my car fixed and went out for my birthday! I had a good time eating dinner (child-less) and just hanging out with my friend Julie.
Today was a good day too! I got 2 letters and a postcard from Dan today…boy did that make my day!! He is doing well, just misses the girls and I. He starts Basic Training tomorrow actually. I can’t believe its been a week already. The days seem to go by so slow but its been a week already. Only 9 weeks to go! LOL
Well I’m not feeling that great tonight, so its going to be a short post tonight!

So much going on lately……
Posted by: | CommentsWell I know its been some time since I last updated the blog! I will get better about that!
Well Dan left on Monday for Basic Training. It was hard saying goobye but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It didn’t get bad till yesterday when EVERYTHING could go wrong/bad it did! I’m a little better today but still not feeling up to my happy self. I think once i finally talk to (i’ve missed his last 4 calls) or get a letter from Dan I’ll feel better.
We took Kiersten and Becca to the eye dr yesterday and we got good and bad news! Kiersten is doing well since her eye surgery and she probably won’t need anymore. Her eyes did get a little more near-sighted so she will need new glasses. Becca was seen because her eyes were crossing like Kiersten’s. She has something similar to Kiersten’s problem but she overcompensates for it which causes her eyes to cross. : ) Becca needs glasses too but only for a couple of years. She needs Bifocals though… I think its funny that a 3 yr old needs bifocals.
I’m missin my hubby a lot these days but I’m hanging in there. I can do anything for only 9 weeks, well thats what I keep telling myself. Right now i’m hoping that i can arrange to move in April instead of waiting till June. I think that will all depend on the Army and if they are willing to pay for it.
Well I guess that’s all for now!
