What a Day! : )

Thanks for coming back to visit! If you would like to be a guest blogger at ArmyHousehold6.com - please let Tammy know!
First of all, sorry for not posting much in the last 2 weeks. Things have been hectic around here. I don’t know if many of you know but Dan’s dad (Dan is my hubby by the way) is dying of cancer and we have been running back and forth helping, visiting, etc. Things don’t look good and he is slipping way little by little.
I can’t believe it is November 14 already! Wow, this year is flying by! Dan is getting ready to leave for Basic Training in mid Jan… just over 2 months. He will be there for 2 months and then goes to his advanced training for 44 weeks. Thank goodness we don’t have to be seperated that long. We are moving in June. (finally to a warmer climate) Yes me and the two kids and the dog are driving to TX. Actually my dad is coming up to help drive the truck with all of our belongings and he will take one child with him. : ) I’m actually hoping that the Army will come thru and move us, but I’m not crossing my fingers on that one! It’s the Army….expect the unexpected.
My candle business is going great, I’ve got several orders in already.Hopefully, at the online craft show next week I can get a few more. Also, I’m going to re-open ImageReady (my promotional products business) and revamp it a bit. I’m going to focus on home-based and small business and see what happens. I think that there is more of a need for it. So needless to say, that after Dan leaves I’ll have a lot to keep myself busy.
Well I’m pretty tired… have a great weekend!

Election Day
Posted by: | CommentsWell we exercised our rights and voted this morning! Did you? No matter what side of the aisle you are on, you need to vote.
I was reading of some Kerry’s “plan” for America… he is just downright scary and way to liberal for me! If for some reason he wins, America will be a very scary place to live.
The thing I really wonder about is that how this campaign has affected personal relationships. I’ve heard stories of some people having major rifts in their relationships because of the electoral polarization. I’m very happy today is election day but I am anxious for the day to be over. I just hope and pray that tomorrow is a new day, the beginning of 4 more years with W!
Well I need to clean my house! Have a great day and if you haven’t voted make sure you do so!

PS I’m thinking of sorting a political blog/website… weigh in on what you think.
First Post
Posted by: | CommentsHi! Well today is Nov 1 and I am finally entering the world of blogging. I’m new to this so we will see how it goes. It is such a gloomy day today but its fall in Minnesota…what can you do? : ) This blog will be a lot bit personal and a bit business today. I’m sure I won’t be posting a lot during the holiday season and all… but come January there will be a lot more.
Have a great day!
